Our good friends at Rightsscale Inc, along with 7digital (this one?) will be launching in February a new service entitled DONBURI TUNES.
The service will make available to the world a large selection of Japanese music of various genres for downloading. More information is sure to come shortly, so don’t go too far away.

Anime News Network recently posted an interview with Shaun Iwase of Rightsscale Inc., discussing Japanese music on the U.S. iTunes Music Store, and the company’s role in the industry. Tofu Records will add Asian Kung-Fu Generation’s Sol-fa to their library on October 18th. The album will include a bonus DVD featuring live performances of Far and Away - Haruka Kanata and Resonance - Shindo Kaku!

Dance/Pop duo m.o.v.e have had two songs added to the U.S. iTunes Music Store. The first song, Freaky Planet, is a standalone single, but Dogfight is a partial upload of the EP, Dogfight. Both songs go for $0.99 each.

Coming this weekend, (Sept. 3-5) a bevy of musical talent is scheduled for the Pacific Media Expo in Long Beach, CA!
