Presumably to promote the forthcoming release of their album “Splurge” through Tofu Records, Puffy AmiYumi will make another appearance on the East Coast of the U.S. this coming July. The tour will be a short seven-show stint, and snub Toronto once again (sad day).

Our good friends at Rightsscale Inc, along with 7digital (this one?) will be launching in February a new service entitled DONBURI TUNES.
The service will make available to the world a large selection of Japanese music of various genres for downloading. More information is sure to come shortly, so don’t go too far away.

Benten Label, who released their first North American album, TsuShiMaMiRe’s Pregnant Fantasy, on November first have announced their line-up for the next few months. The annoncement confirms their dedication to the market and my questions about Canadian releases.
