Update #5: The Zoobombs added a Guelph show, and another Montreal show (after Pop Montreal). Their coming week looks like the following:

Update #3: Following their amazing spur-of-the-moment show last night at The Drake Hotel, the Zoobombs will bring their “infinite musical force” (as the posters say) to the Silver Dollar Room on Tuesday with Shikasta, VCR, and perhaps more. There will also be a third show this week on Thursday. I think it will once again be at the Silver Dollar, but it’s not certain. Since the band had many problems at the border, it’s doubtful that there will be any more American shows on this leg of their tour.

Update #2: It seems that the Zoobombs will be adding yet another Toronto show on September 29th. What does that mean for Columbus, OH? I don’t know yet. This isn’t officially official, but I’ll keep you posted.

Update: It’s notoriously hard to get good pictures at live music events with standard consumer digital cameras. But I did my best. It’s late, but I posted some (more coming) in the J-pop T.O. forum.

The Zoobombs have announced new dates in their newly named “The World Takeover Tour Phase 2,” including five dates in Toronto starting next week (Sept. 14th). As far as American cities go, they will be hitting a couple of Ohio cities, as well as NYC. Otherwise they hit Montreal twice and a few Ontario cities besides T.O.

They will also be doing a live recording on the UofT campus station, CIUT. You should be able to listen here (streaming audio link), and I’ll let you know when as soon as I do.
